23: Heart Centered Leadership with Ryan Hartley

Welcome to episode 23 of the Transformative Harmonics podcast with your host Paula Scatoloni, LCSW, SEP. In this episode, Paula is joined by Ryan Hartley, founder of Always Better Than Yesterday and host of the Always Better Than Yesterday podcast. Together, they discuss what it truly means to lead from the heart in a world shaped by pressure, comparison, and disconnection.

Ryan Hartley is a devoted disciple of love and a champion of heart-centered leadership. As the founder and Chief Heart Officer of Always Better Than Yesterday, he helps people live from the heart and lead with love — supporting individuals, teams, and communities to reconnect with who they truly are. A former police leader with 12 years of service, Ryan brings grounded wisdom and emotional depth to his work. Since leaving policing in 2020, he’s dedicated himself to guiding leaders through uncertainty, change, and growth with steadiness and care.

He’s also the host of the Always Better Than Yesterday podcast, streamed in over 140 countries and ranked among the top global podcasts. Through conversation, coaching, and community, Ryan creates safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to lead from love — not performance.

At his core, Ryan is devoted to helping others feel clearer, lighter, and more connected than when he met them.
