Embodied: Step Into Your Self Event

An integral sound healing experience for the body, mind, heart and spirit

Blending Modern Science with Ancient Wisdom: the power of the mind to focus and attend to the experience happening in the body.

Join us for an advanced application of Polyvagal Theory as we bridge sound, science, and embodiment to support regulation and build a felt sense of safety in the body that creates openings to a greater sense of self-love, connection, and authentic expression.

This 5-week course is offered in-person and remotely for a limited time only!

With other 30 years of experience in mind-body connection, we bring together a culmination of therapy wisdom, somatic practices, sound healing, modern acoustics, and yoga in a unique synergy designed to shift the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body into states of coherence, flow, and inner harmony.

What this course includes:

  • Exclusive access to Dr. Stephen Porges and Anthony Gorry, new Polyvagal music through a weekly sound lab.
  • Somatic and sensation-based support to help you deepen into embodiment.
  • Practical tools and teachings about mind, body, heart, and spirit connection.
  • An attuned and contained place to explore yourself through sound journeying, somatics, and journal prompts.

Your Teachers

Paula Marie

Paula Marie is a social worker and a Healing Arts Practitioner in NC. Paula is here as a bridge to help individuals access higher states of consciousness and the harmonics of the Self through the medium of sound.

Paula has been on a path of embodied consciousness since the age of 17. Her own journey of learning to live, love, and listen to the body has been influenced by her training in and experience in body-based therapy, movement explorations, and spiritual practices.

Paula offers deep attunement and somatic resonance, to help individuals shift their frequency into deeper states of mind-body coherence. As a Somatic Experiencing practitioner focused on developmental wounding, Paula has an in-depth understanding of the ways in which we hold our narratives in the nervous system and body. She is also trained in Biofield Tuning and Reiki which she uses to support individual, ancestral, and collective healing.

Leslie

Leslie is an experienced teacher of yoga, licensed massage and bodywork therapist, and somatically oriented psychotherapist. From a very young age, Leslie’s sincere desire and curiosity to understand suffering and how the emergence from suffering leads to a deeper well of kindness, wisdom, and generosity has been and continues to be a lifelong journey. Through various education, trainings, and experience, Leslie has been able to create a very integrative approach to embodiment and healing. This blend of ancient wisdom and modern science is a combination of:

1. The yogic tradition: movement, breath-work, meditation, and sound,

2. Bodywork and energy-work: anatomy and physiology of many different systems in the body

3. Somatic Experiencing, The Poly-Vagal Theory, and Internal Family Systems: provided language, mental construct, and scientific understanding of the connection between the brain and the body

4. Psychedelic assisted therapy: the power of: experiential learning, the sensation body, and what happens when we can observe ourselves or a situation from a different perspective, or altered state of consciousness

These disciplines and approaches have taught Leslie the skills and value of being able to attune to and track sensation moving in and through the body as a way to both (a)create a living experience of safety in the body and (b)shift and transform challenging emotions and experiences that have not yet been metabolized. Through this intuitive and compassionately attuned work, Leslie hopes to better serve: her family, loved ones, and those in the broader communities with which she lives.
