With over 30 years of experience in the mind-body connection, we offer a culmination of therapeutic wisdom, somatic practices, sound healing, modern acoustics, and yoga in a unique synergy designed to shift the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body into states of coherence, flow, and inner harmony.

This course is contributing to the Rest and Restore testing process. This course offers deep healing experiences that may evoke emotional and physiological responses. Participants should already feel a sense of safety in their bodies and have prior experience with body-oriented therapies. The course is recommended for those comfortable with exploring their inner landscape, participating in group settings, and sharing experiences. A willingness to learn from others and be part of a healing community is essential.

• Maximum Participants: 25
Participants are required to attend most classes to gain full benefit from the experience. Please have a good-quality headset or speakers with you for this class. You will be using your own technology to access the music through Android or iPhone for this course.
Each class will include 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of listening. Participants will also complete a survey at the end of each class.

Your Teachers
Paula Marie
Paula is a leader in spirituality, somatics, sound, and psychology who brings practical tools and embodied wisdom together to help individuals better understand the mind, body, and heart connection. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Healing Arts Practitioner trained in Somatic Experiencing, Biofield Tuning, and Safe and Sound Protocol. Her approach draws from cutting-edge perspectives such as Interpersonal Neurobiology, Polyvagal Theory, Sensorimotor Therapy, Body-Mind centering, Embodied Recovery, and Biofield Tuning. Using esoteric healing and sound together, her somatic-sonic sound journeys are a unique blend of modern science and ancient wisdom designed to help individuals more deeply embody their hearts, express their gifts, and liberate their minds.
She is the co-developer of the original Ai Pono treatment center in Hawaii and the co-creator of the Embodied Recovery Institute in NC. Paula's work is featured in publications such as The Safe and Sound Protocol, The SE-SSP guidelines, and Trauma-Informed Approaches for Eating Disorders. Paula is also known for bringing cutting-edge perspectives on eating disorder treatment programs at institutions such as Duke University.
Leslie
Leslie is an experienced teacher of yoga, licensed massage and bodywork therapist, and somatically oriented psychotherapist. From a very young age, Leslie’s sincere desire and curiosity to understand suffering and how emergence from suffering leads to deeper kindness, wisdom, and generosity, has and continues to be a lifelong journey. Leslie uses somatic tools and practices in a compassionately attuned, integrative, and evidenced-based way stemming from her experience and training in: the yogic tradition, anatomy and physiology, as well as Somatic Experiencing and IFS. This work offers clients gentle and transformative ways to access and shift the challenging experiences and emotions that live in and through their bodies.
