In 2023 several seasoned Somatic Experienced Practitioners developed a manual to support the integration of Somatic Experiencing and The Safe and Sound Program. The Safe and Sound Program is an auditory program that can be used in a manner very similar to Somatic Experiencing to support deep sustained change in the mind-body system.
This Q&A will provide information on the integration of these potential tools and offer additional perspectives on using the SSP to work directly with the attachment and bonding system to support embodiment, relational connectivity, heart-mind coherence, and a deeper connection to the Core Self.
The content of the program will address topics such as The Science Behind the SSP, Titration and Pendulation, Somatic Resourcing, Core Self-Parts Work During the SSP, and How Sound & Embodied Relational Presence Expand the Container for Deeper Healing.
Paula will reference aspects of the 45-page manual in this Q&A.
