27: Embracing Sacred Eldership
In this episode, Paula is joined by Kate Appleton, a family consultant and coach with a deep understanding of grief, death, and the importance of eldership.

Kate shares her experiences of navigating complex family dynamics and intergenerational grief, offering insight into the delicate work of holding space for others through life's most challenging moments. Together, they discuss the role of the elder in today's world, the need for moral courage, and how we can support others in their emotional and spiritual journeys.

Kate Appleton, LPC, SEP, M.Ed/M.Ed, is a somatic psychotherapist, family consultant, and international educator. With over 50 years of experience, she weaves together her background as a Waldorf and special education teacher, spiritual director, and somatic attachment practitioner to support individuals, families, and practitioners in awakening embodied connection and relational healing.
